Google Play UPI Autopay for subscription-based purchases in India
The tech giant Google has just announced the UPI autopay for Google play India for subscription-based purchases from the play store. With this new addon, users can easily select the UPI method for payment where they can select the option to pay with UPI and approve the amount in the chosen app for a subscription.
Saurabh Agarwal, Head of Google Play Retail & Payments Activation said “With the introduction of UPI Autopay on the platform, we aim to extend the convenience of UPI to subscription-based purchases, helping many more people access helpful and delightful services–while enabling local developers to grow their subscription-based businesses on Google Play.”
