This is a handy tool to use. You can use the file doctor to fix data issues in your QuickBooks files. If you are having trouble with one or more of your company’s files, you can try running the QuickFix file or using the FileDoctor. These tools will help you to recover lost information. If you select the file doctor help option, you’ll be presented with four options for file recovery:

QuickFix Data Recovery

If you have accidentally deleted files or folders, the quickfix data recovery tool can help. The quickfix data recovery tool scans the drive for deleted files. It works by quickbooks tool hub comparing data on a drive with that stored in the QuickBooks system. When the comparison indicates data that has been deleted from the QuickBooks system, the data is recovered.

If you know what folder or file you are missing, you can just type that name into the search field. If you don’t know exactly what folder or file you need to recover, you can browse through a list of possible matches. The quickfix data recovery tool lets you recover only deleted files or folders. It cannot recover deleted transactions, contacts, accounts, or reports that aren’t stored on your computer.
